Drawing from the intricate forms and subtle shifts of nature, I create abstract paintings that explore the essence of leaves. My work is not about literal representation, but about translating the feeling and energy of a leaf's life cycle onto the canvas.I break down the leaf into its most basic components—line, shape, and color—to build a new reality on the canvas. The work moves beyond botanical study to become an investigation of form itself, using the leaf as a point of departure.  Through layers of color, texture, and gestural marks, I capture the quiet drama of growth and decay. I want to convey the resilience of a leaf. Ultimately, these paintings are a meditation on our connection to the natural world. They are an invitation to look closer—not at the recognizable shapes, but at the universal patterns of change, beauty, and impermanence that we all share.
